Yaaqov and Esau started fighting before they were born:

Bereshit (Genesis) 25:21-23 And Isaac entreated YHVH for his wife, because she
[was] barren: and YHVH was entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived. And
the children struggled together within her; and she said, If [it be] so, why
[am] I thus? And she went to inquire of YHVH. And YHVH said unto her, Two
nations [are] in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy
bowels; and [the one] people shall be stronger than [the other] people; and the
elder shall serve the younger. These two, Yaaqov and Esau, are going to be
fighting throughout history The reason is that both houses were to fight over
the birthright. Esau had lost it twices, and his descendants continually desired
to take it back.

Bereshit (Genesis) 25:25,26
"And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in
her womb. And the first twin came out red, all over like an garment and they
called his name Esau . And after that came his brother out, and his hand took
hold on Esau's heel ; and his name was called Jacob : and Isaac [was] threescore
years old when she bare them

The first mention of the word Edom is found in: Bereshit (Genesis) 25:30 ,31
"And Esau said to Yaaqov , Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red [pottage];
for I [am] faint: therefore was his name called Edom

Yaaqov said, Sell me this day thy birthright. And Esau said, Behold, I am at the
point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? And Jacob said,
Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto
Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and
drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright. Edom is
the name which was given to Esau, the first-born son of Yitzchak , on the day he
sold his birthright to Yaaqov for a mess of pottage.

Genesis 27
1 And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that
he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, My son: and
he said unto him, Behold, here am I.

2 And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death:

3 Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go
out to the field, and take me some venison;

4 And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat;
that my soul may bless thee before I die.

5 And Rebekah heard when Isaac spake to Esau his son. And Esau went to the field
to hunt for venison, and to bring it.

6 And Rebekah spake unto Jacob her son, saying, Behold, I heard thy father speak
unto Esau thy brother, saying,

7 Bring me venison, and make me savoury meat, that I may eat, and bless thee
before YHVH before my death.

8 Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to that which I command thee.

9 Go now to the flock, and fetch me from thence two good kids of the goats; and
I will make them savoury meat for thy Dad, such as he loveth:

10 And thou shalt bring it to thy father, that he may eat, and that he may bless
thee before his death.

11 And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy man,
and I am a smooth man:

12 My Dad peradventure will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver; and
I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.

13 And his mother said unto him, Upon me be thy curse, my son: only obey my
voice, and go fetch me them.

14 And he went, and fetched, and brought them to his mother: and his mother made
savoury meat, such as his Dad loved.

15 And Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which were with her
in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son:

16 And she put the skins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the
smooth of his neck:

17 And she gave the savoury meat and the bread, which she had prepared, into the
hand of her son Jacob.

18 And he came unto his Dad, and said, My Dad: and he said, Here am I; who art
thou, my son?

19 And Jacob said unto his father, I am Esau thy first born; I have done
according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that
thy soul may bless me.

20 And Isaac said unto his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my
son? And he said, Because YHVH thy Father brought it to me.

21 And Isaac said unto Jacob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my
son, whether thou be my very son Esau or not.

22 And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, The
voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.

23 And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau's
hands: so he blessed him.

24 And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am.

25 And he said, Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son's venison, that my
soul may bless thee. And he brought it near to him, and he did eat: and he
brought him wine and he drank.

26 And his Dad Isaac said unto him, Come near now, and kiss me, my son.

27 And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment,
and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field
which YHVH hath blessed:

28 Therefore YHVH give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth,
and plenty of corn and wine:

29 Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be master over thy
brethren, and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that
curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.

30 And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and
Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau
his brother came in from his hunting.

31 And he also had made savoury meat, and brought it unto his Dad, and said unto
his Dad, Let my Dad arise, and eat of his son's venison, that thy soul may bless
me.

32 And Isaac his Dad said unto him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy
firstborn Esau.

33 And Isaac trembled very exceedingly, and said, Who? where is he that hath
taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest,
and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed.

34 And when Esau heard the words of his Dad, he cried with a great and exceeding
bitter cry, and said unto his Dad, Bless me, even me also, O my Dad.

35 And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy
blessing.

36 And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these
two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my
blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?

37 And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy master,
and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine
have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son?

Genesis 27:38
And Esau said unto his Dad, Hast thou but one blessing, my Dad? bless me, even
me also, O my Dad. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.

Hebrews 12:17
For you know that even afterwards, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he
was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought for it with
tears

Genesis 27:39,40,41
"And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be
the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above; And by thy sword
shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when
thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck."

41 And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his Dad blessed him:
and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my Dad are at hand; then
will I slay my brother Jacob.

The Torah repeats the association of Edom with Esau in:

Bereshit (Genesis) 36:1
Now these [are] the generations of Esau, who [is]Edom

Bereshit (Genesis) 36:8 Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau [is] Edom

Bereshit (Genesis) 36:43 Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these [be] the dukes of Edom ,
according to their habitations in the land of their possession: he [is] Esau the
father of the Edomites.

The capital of Edom was probably Bozrah (see especially Amos 1:12, "the palaces
of Bozrah," similar to the palaces of other capital cities mentioned in this
prophecy). Bozrah was the principal city, the other cities of Edom being called
Bozrah's cities: "For I have sworn by myself, says YHVH, that Bozrah shall
become a horror, a taunt, a waste, and a curse; and all her cities shall be
perpetual wastes" (Jer. 49:13). Among the other cities of Edom mentioned in the
Bible are Teman, which is used as a parallel for Bozrah (Amos 1:12), and Dedan
(Jer. 49:8). The principal cities of Edom, which were also the royal cities, can
be learned from the list of kings, who reigned "before king Saul reigned over
the Hebrews" (Gen. 36).

Edom was conquered after a decisive defeat in the Valley of Salt. According to
Samuel 8:13 it was King David who defeated Edom in the Valley of Salt, slaying
18,000 Edomites. According to Chronicles 18:12, "Abishai son of Zeruiah slew
18,000 Edomites in the Valley of Salt," and according to Psalm 60:2, it was also
Joab who defeated Edom . The war was attributed and credited to King David , and
the victories of Joab, his military commander.

King David did not leave the Edomites monarchy in power, but made Edom into
anprovince ruled by appointed governors Sam. 8:14; Chron. 18:13). There is
additional information about this battle in Kings 11:15–16 which states that
"For six months did Joab remain there with all Yisrayl, until he had cut off
every male in Edom." His reasons for turning Edom into a province which rendered
tribute and was ruled by governors were probably primarily economic. Edom
controlled the trade routes, both overland the "King's Highway" and maritime the
port of Ezion-Geber-Elath. The Hebrew rule of Edom by means of governors lasted
throughout King David's reign and apparently also through most of King Solomon's
time, until Hadad, a descendant of the last Edomites king, rebelled against
Solomon.

In the Biblical Scriptures Edom is described as the eternal enemy of The Hebrews
and Judah, Amos 1:11; Ezek. 35:5 . Edom not only always try's to oppressed
Ysrayl, but at the time of the destruction of the First Temple took advantage of
the situation and seized control of parts of Judah (Ezek. 25:12; 35:5, 10, 2;
Obad. 11–16), and Edom also took part in the destruction of Jerusalem (Ps.
137:7; Obad. 11) .

Jeremiah Prophesies: Edom to Become a Wasteland

Jeremiah 49:7-22
Concerning Edom. Thus says YHVH of hosts: "Is wisdom no more in Teman? Has
counsel perished from the prudent? Has their wisdom vanished? Flee, turn back,
dwell in the depths, O inhabitants of Dedan! For I will bring the calamity of
Esau upon him, the time when I punish him. If grape-gatherers came to you, would
they not leave gleanings? If thieves came by night, would they not destroy only
enough for themselves? But I have stripped Esau bare, I have uncovered his
hiding places, and he is not able to conceal himself. His children are
destroyed, and his brothers, and his neighbors; and he is no more. Leave your
fatherless children, I will keep them alive; and let your widows trust in me."
For thus says YHVH: "If those who did not deserve to drink the cup must drink
it, will you go unpunished? You shall not go unpunished, but you must drink. For
I have sworn by myself, says YHVH, that Bozrah shall become a horror, a taunt, a
waste, and a curse; and all her cities shall be perpetual wastes." I have heard
tidings from YHVH, and a messenger has been sent among the nations: "Gather
yourselves together and come against her, and rise up for battle!" For behold, I
will make you small among the nations, despised among men. The horror you
inspire has deceived you, and the pride of your heart, you who live in the
clefts of the rock, who hold the height of the hill.

Though you make your nest as high as the eagle's, I will bring you down from
there, says YHVH. "Edom shall become a horror; every one who passes by it will
be horrified and will hiss because of all its disasters. As when Sodom and
Gomorrah and their neighbor cities were overthrown, says YHVH, no man shall
dwell there, no man shall sojourn in her. Behold, like a lion coming up from the
jungle of the Jordan against a strong sheepfold, I will suddenly make them run
away from her; and I will appoint over her whomever I choose. For who is like
me? Who will summon me? What shepherd can stand before me? Therefore hear the
plan which YHVH has made against Edom and the purposes which he has formed
against the inhabitants of Teman: Even the little ones of the flock shall be
dragged away; surely their fold shall be appalled at their fate. At the sound of
their fall the earth shall tremble; the sound of their cry shall be heard at the
Red Sea. Behold, one shall mount up and fly swiftly like an eagle, and spread
his wings against Bozrah, and the heart of the warriors of Edom shall be in that
day like the heart of a woman in her pangs."

In Ezekiel 35:15 the prophecy against Esau's descendants is directed against
"mount Seir and ,all Edom " . The prophet also directs his Esau prophecies
against ,Teman , in Ezekiel 20:46 and in 25:13. Teman was Esau's grandson
through Eliphaz (Gen. 36:11).

Amos 1:11-12 Thus saith YHVH; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four , I
will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because he did pursue his brother
with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually,
and he kept his wrath for ever: But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall
devour the palaces of Bozrah.

Tehillim (Psalm) 137:7 Remember, YHVH, the children of Edom in the day of
Jerusalem ; who said, Rase [it], rase [it, even] to the foundation thereof.

During the Babylonian Exile of the Hebrews, which is traditionally dated to
586-539, the Edomites looted Judah and settled in the northern Negev (Ezra,
35.10-12; cf. Psalm , 137.7). Maybe as a retaliation, Edom was invaded by the
Babylonian king Nabonidus in 553 (Nabonidus Chronicle); he even proceeded
further to the south, to the Arabian town Tema and beyond, eventually reaching
Iatribu (modern Medina). After the Persians had taken power; the Arabian tribe
of the Nabataeans, invaded Edom, and seized power.

Diodorus, Library of World History, 19.94-100
"Many Edomites moved to the newly acquired land in the northern Negev, because
in the Hellenistic age (which starts with the conquests Alexander the Great in
333), the name "Idumea" refers to the Negev. The new capital was Hebron; other
towns were Marisa and Beth-Sur. The Edomite homeland had been taken over by the
Nabataeans, who repelled Greek attacks".

1 Maccabees Apocrypha
"1 And it happened, after that Alexander son of Philip, the Macedonian, who came
out of the land of Chettiim, had smitten Darius king of the Persians and Medes,
that he reigned in his stead, the first over Greece, 2 And made many wars, and
won many strong holds, and slew the kings of the earth, 3 And went through to
the ends of the earth, and took spoils of many nations, insomuch that the earth
was quiet before him; whereupon he was exalted and his heart was lifted up. 4
And he gathered a mighty strong host and ruled over countries, and nations, and
kings, who became tributaries unto him. 5 And after these things he fell sick,
and perceived that he should die. 6 Wherefore he called his servants, such as
were honourable, and had been brought up with him from his youth, and parted his
kingdom among them, while he was yet alive. 7 So Alexander reigned twelves
years, and then died. 8 And his servants bare rule every one in his place. 9 And
after his death they all put crowns upon themselves; so did their sons after
them many years: and evils were multiplied in the earth."

Rome was founded by the children of Esau, and Rome was identified as one of the
cities of the chiefs of Esau enumerated at the end of Genesis 36 (these
identifications occur not only in the Midrashim and the Talmuds but also in the
Palestinian Targums of the Torah and in the Targums to Lamentations and Esther .

Kittim - A place-name in the Aegean Islands, perhaps Kition in Cyprus, that in
Dead Sea Scrolls texts serves as a code word for "Romans"

Josephus, Jewish Antiquities, 13.257-258
"As long as the Ptolemies, descendants of Alexander's general Ptolemy I Soter,
controlled this area, the situation remained quiet, but they lost their Asian
possessions to the Seleucids after the Fifth Syrian War (202-195). The Jews
revolted against their overlords (the Maccabaean Revolt) and their leader,
Judas, invaded Idumea in 167, sacking Hebron (1 Maccabees, 5.3). John Hyrcanus
(r.134-104) subdued the Idumeans and forcibly converted them to Judaism:.

The Hebrew name, "Edom," sometimes is written in its Greek form, "Idumea." These
are the same name, but written in different languages . Once you understand that
the prophecies regarding Esau come under all of these various names, it is
apparent that the Bible is full of prophecies against Esau's descendants in the
latter days. Many do not realize this, because many prophetic statements are
directed at one of the other names: Edom, Idumea, Seir, Teman, Kittim or Amalek.
In the first millennium many of the Edomites and Canaanites who had adopted
Judaism migrated to Khazaria, absorbed into the general population, and later
adopted the name Aslenaz, or Ashkenazi Jews .

The Jewish Encyclopedia, 1925 edition, Vol. 5, p. 41, which says, "Edom is in
modern Jewry."

Canaanite, Khazar, and Edomite, are names that accurately describe the people
who call themselves, Jews. Modern Jewry is, those who adhere to Judaism and
reject Yahushua and is the only modern nation that can fulfill the prophecies of
Edom

Ovadiah 1:17-21 "But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be
holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. And the house
of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph aflame, and the house of Esau
for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not
be [any] remaining of the house of Esau; for YHVH hath spoken [it].And [they of]
the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and [they of] the plain the
Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of
Samaria: and Benjamin [shall possess]Gilead. And the captivity of this host of
the children of Yisrayl [shall possess] that of the Canaanites, [even] unto
Zarephath; and the captivity of Jerusalem, which [is] in Sepharad, shall possess
the cities of the south. And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the
mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be YHVH" .

Malachi
1
YHVH Love for Jacob
The burden of the word of YHVH to Yisrayl by Mal'achi.
I have loved you, saith YHVH. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not
Esau Jacob's brother? saith YHVH: yet I loved Jacob, and I hated Esau, and laid
his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the
desolate places; thus saith YHVH of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw
down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people
against whom YHVH hath indignation for ever. And your eyes shall see, and ye
shall say, YHVH will be magnified from the border of YHVH.

Revelation 2:9, "I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are
not but are a synagogue of Satan." And 3:9, "I will make those of the synagogue
of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie; indeed I will make them to
come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved thee .
